The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with the fabric of the building, health and safety, grounds, facilities maintenance and security. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks. PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE INVOLVES A ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN, AND WEEKEND WORKING MAY BE REQUIRED OCCASIONALLY.

Overview of the role:

• Security of the school. Being primary keyholder, locking and unlocking premises, checking for break-ins/vandalism, maintaining high levels of security, liaising with security services/emergency services if needed, dealing with alarm and lighting systems, having in-depth location knowledge of things like stopcocks/fuse boards etc
• Maintenance of the school.
