SEND Teaching Assistant Doncaster £500 per week (term time) Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp - perm Working hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday (term time only)

Unique School Solutions are working with a specialist school in Doncaster who require an experienced, skilled, and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to work in lower Key Stage 3, supporting approx 14 students with SEND needs.

The school is an inclusive, warm and welcoming environment which provides specialist educational opportunities to pupils with Moderate Learning Disabilities including Autism, Global Delay and Speech and Language needs. The students will require different and alternative strategies for learning using a range of teaching strategies. Therefore, previous experience supporting SEND learners within a school is essential.

The role:

• Working with approx 14 students with a range of needs, supporting them educationally and emotionally.
• Working alongside 3 other TA's under the direction of the class teacher.

Essential requirements for the role:

- Previous experience working with children with SEND, including but not limited to Autism, Global Delay, and Speech and Language needs. PLEASE NOTE this must have been within a school/college environment, and within the last 2 years.

• A good understanding of providing differentiated learning opportunities.
• A good level of physical fitness. This is a demanding role.
• Patience, empathy, and calmness.

- The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative.

• Personal care and Makaton experience are desirable but not essential.

SEMH Teaching Assistant (Primary) Rotherham, S65 £100 per day Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp - perm Working hours: Monday – Friday, (term time only) 8.15- 3.30

Unique School Solutions are supporting a Primary School in the S65 area of Rotherham to appoint a specialist SEMH Teaching Assistant to work as part of the SEND team supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis with SEMH. The role will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher supporting students with the curriculum and developmental targets.

SEND Teaching Assistant

Sheffield, S36

£100 per day

Start date: ASAP

Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only

Unique School Solutions are supporting a small, community primary school in the S36 area of Sheffield, who are needing a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in their specialist SEND resource. The role will be working within the resource unit, supporting a small group of students with Special Educational Needs - predominantly Autism and non-verbal, under the direction of the teacher. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.
