EYFS SEND Teaching Assistants

Working hours: Monday – Friday, (term time only) 8.30- 3.30

Unique School Solutions are supporting primary schools in the S65, S60 and S61 areas of Rotherham to recruit Teaching Assistant to work within the EYFS department supporting children with SEND needs.

The roles will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher supporting students with the EYFS curriculum and developmental targets. You will be supporting students with additional needs on either a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

These positions are term time only.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous experience working within a school (mainstream or special) or within a day nursery
• EYFS experience and strong curriculum knowledge
• Minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• The ability to build rapport with young learners
• The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
• The ability to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis

SEND EYFS Practitioner Rotherham, S65 £95 per day Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp - perm Working hours: Monday – Friday (term time only) 8.30 – 3.30

Unique School Solutions are supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the S65 area of Rotherham to recruit for an experienced and enthusiastic SEND EYFS Practitioner to work within a specialist unit for children with complex needs, including medical, ASD and Developmental Delay. The mornings will be working with children aged 6-50 months, and in the afternoons you will be working within a FS1 classroom.

Due to the needs of the students in the unit, previous experience of manual handling and personal care is essential.

• Previous SEND experience
• Personal care and Moving & Handling experience essential

• The ability to support on a 1:1 basis
